Hey everyone. I'm new to blade forum but I'm a big knife lover. Anyway I have my dad's old buck 112 2 dot and it has an inscription on the bottom right hand side of the bottom bolster. It says "Tylan 200" it doesn't look sloppy or done by a third party. But I didn't know if anyone would have some insight! Thanks a bunch!

Tylan 200 is a cattle antibiotic so possibly a knife made for the company for employees or something. You can do a quick internet search for Tylan 200.

Levi, welcome to the Buck Forum. I believe your question was answered. In the title of this topic you got the date of your 2 dot 112 correct.
Good reading. I'm inquiring how many brass handle rivets your 112 has? Thank you. DM
