I just received a new Buck 112 Ranger Pro and all I can say is "WOW"! I have a 110 pro series and both are flawless. Of all the Buck knives I own, these two are absolutely perfect. The G-10 lines up exactly and they both look like they came off a photo shoot for a magazine. It has tight lock up and no factory compound like the standard 110, not that its a big deal to remove the compound with a little elbow grease but it's nice to just unbox and put on your belt and "rock it." I am in love and it's unbelievably sharp as hell like nothing I have received from the factory before. All my other Buck knives have been 420HC and now that my two Pro's are S30V I might start being a steel snob, JK.

JK, congratulations on your new Buck 112 - always nice when you get a perfect knife. I bought the 110 version when it was introduced (made in 2017) and have thoroughly enjoyed it as a woodsman's knife. OH

Nice knife ,I have the 110 model and love it,great deer hunting knife ,it actually gets grippy when it gets blood or water on the handle, quite impressed with its fit and finish too, spot on.

I have a custom knife shop 112 with s30v clip point blade I ordered a few years ago that I use at times and it’s a great little knife keeps a good edge a long time and I really should use it more often. But I just got the January BOTM 112 S35vn with sculpted cocobolo handle and I am as happy as can be with it. It’s beautiful! I’m kinda scared to use it but I will with care in appropriate types of usage. It’s my first knife in S35vn and my only 112 drop point so I’m looking forward to how it works for me. I use my 110s more often but there’s times that the 3” blade 112 is better suited for some tasks where there’s not as much room or smaller items to cut but still needing a stout knife with a better grip. I have 8- 110s in 7 different models ranging from 420hc clip points, to a cpm 154 drop point, s30v clip points and a 20cv drop point and one auto. I don’t plan on as many 112s but that could change in time and my habits. Maybe even a slim model or two. Lol. So many knives, so little time in a day. Lol. The 112 pro models are some great using knives that’s for sure!

This is on my shortlist. I like the 5160s but it would be nice if you got caught in the rain to not have to worry so much. Plus the combination of satin bolsters and blade and black G10 look stellar.

The absolute sharpest knife out of the box I have owned was a Slim Pro Plus 112 in S35VN...I used to think 'Super Steels' was was just hype..no more!
