Buck 119 Custom Chipflint?

Nice. I had to refresh my memory of the 124 model looks good. Do you use it? And how does the black Chipflint hold up? Thanks.

The blade is made of 420hc and it holds up like the standard 119.

I think he was referring to how well does the black stay on.

I cant comment on durability but my 119 wasn't all that great when I got it. My 112 and 110 were fabulous.

Some use acid to darken the design then oil it. Chip flint is quite nice.

Nice pieces thanks for the pic. Yeah I really want to get the 119 custom with the palm wood. I don’t need it if course

Good to hear. In the picture above looks like the blade not as dark as in the pic on buck website.

They're grayish black. The one on the buck website looks black.

Love the looks of the chip Flint, now if only they could do a 1095 blade with a forged look to it.
