Does buck creek make a knife any other place than germany?

Remember that Buck Creek is a brand. The people who own the brand do not own a factory. They contract with factories to have their knives made.

My impression is that in the past Buck Creek knives have been made by Olbertz in Solingen, Germany (same factory where Eye Brand knives are made). I do not know if Buck Creek knives are being made there now, or elsewhere.

Thanks for the info ..........reason I ask is I found a buck creek and it looked very poor quality and did not match the quality of my other buck creeks I own.... thanks guys

The brand "Buck Creek" is owned by Frost Cutlery. They outsource the production.
At least up until recently, they were being made by Friedrich Olbertz. I suppose it is possible they changed who is producing them. Or it is possible you got a bum specimen.
