Hi there. In a recent email from Buck Knives the writer mentioned "We have some exciting things happening in our Custom Shop keep checking in."

Does anyone know what this might mean?

Something is going to happen. My guess is they will let us build more different kinds of knives with more different kinds of steel. Kind of like a level up in blacksmithing.

A folder just don't seem right without a nail nick.

Nail nicks are not needed on 110's or 112's. I'd like to fill mine in.

My 2 dot 112 with no nick is beautiful. Would love to see classic traditional long pull available on the 110 (like on the Camillus made 301s).

Flat grind (or FFG) drop point blades and aluminum frames are my big wishes. I LOVE my aluminum framed 110 but want flat ground drop point (no nick or long pull)
