While taking digital photos of my knives for a screensaver, I got the idea to try to make a nice Desktop Wallpaper for my favorite knife company,

Below are small versions of 2 wallpapers that I made by placeing my Buck Knives patch on some maple bark for a background. One has the patch centered, the other offset to the right so your icons won't cover it.

Below each picture is a link to download a full size 1024X768 version, each of which is about 275KB.

As far as I know, me photographing my own patch doesn't violate Buck's copyrights, but if for some reason it does, Mr. Houser or Mr. Buck or someone with Buck, please let me know and I'll take them down.

I doubt Buck will care about you providing free advertising for them, as long as you're not selling the images.

Is the background a historic rock wall?

Nope, some bark off of a maple tree in my yard.

I keep several pieces to use as background for knife pic's.

Not sure, it's that bark that does almost curl up on itself.

Sorry to bring this topic back to life but is there any chance of having a look at the desktop wallpaper again as the links dont work anymore . Or has any one else got any pics of a 110 that i could use as wallpaper?

Thanks

Duncan
