I got a very similar Buck from a gun shop in Australia. I can't load pics like you guys but can put a link to imigur. The skinning hook on mine is much longer, did you file tours down? Buck 191-Zipper 21y/o...
I suppose I should have provided context with my knife. What I displayed is a Quest, yours is a Zipper. The Vanguard and Quest were introduced new in the 1991 catalog, hitting stores late 1991. The story as I recall is that CJ Buck took the new knife on a hunting trip to try out and found immediately that the guthook was functionally too small and production/sales were halted. The guthook was designed larger and the knife re-released in 1992 as the Zipper which continues today as current production. Not many small guthook Quests made it to market, perhaps a few hundred so a scarce knife to find. Mine was this 118, at the PX, '69-70.The first Buck fixed blade I ever bought, a 105 Pathfinder at the APG MD PX in the fall of 1976.
