I'm looking for a general good-quality folder for everyday light use. I was thinking about the Buck Nobleman, any thought or suggestions from anyone?

I was unsure of that model, so I looked it up.

A little too modern or tactical for me, of course you are posting in the traditional folders section. To my eye's (being 440A steel) it looks like it made be made overseas, China. I have a LOT of Bucks and have never been dissapointed with any of them, even with the overseas knives.

I would suggest you do a post over in the BUCK section for more feedback.

I have the smaller version, the scholar, and find that it is a good value. Much nicer than the other knives from China I've come across (which is true of the Buck overseas knives).
