Hey guys,

My buddy at work says he was at wallyworld recently and saw a Red Rider BB gun with "by Buck" on it. I told him I didnt figger it to be the same company, but he swears up and down that it was the Buck logo. I checked on line and no sign of it. Anyone familiar? Has Buck thrown its hat into the pre-pubescent warfare game?

Yeah they have had those for quite awhile. I do not think it is actually the Buck logo though. Maybe I didnt look close enough!! :D I think its just buck head etched on a wood stock. I think it just signifies the wood stock difference.
Ah, buy it anyway :D

No way, you'll shoot your eye out:D

 Classic!! ;)

I know if it is the real deal, I must have one:thumbup::D

I found the difference Kevin. Going by the description, you may want to step up to the standard red ryder ;)

Of all BB guns, the Daisy 105 Buck BB gun is the smallest, with an overall length of 29.8 inches. The Daisy 105 Buck is America's favorite starter BB gun. It's lightweight and dependable, with an easy-to-use lever action. Other features include solid wood stock and TRUGLO® fiber optic sight. Its design makes it the perfect air rifle for introducing new shooters to the fun of air guns (10+ years of age is Daisy's age-appropriate labeling for this model).

Then there is Daisy's famous Red Ryder BB gun from the movie A Christmas Story. It has the same age rating as the 105 Buck, but is a little bit larger at 34.4 inches. Or if your children are older and need slightly larger guns, our selection below features such popular brands as Crosman air guns and Marksmen air rifles. One Crossman air gun, the Crossman 760 xls, is 33.5 inches long and a good beginner's gun.

I saw one at an El Paso Wally World and I took a fast look,I too came away with the impression that it was some sort of Buck knife edition daisy.Being as I almost lost my right eye already this year by taking off my safety glasses for a split second to get a better look at a bolt I was cutting and knocked a hole in my eye,I figured I best pass because I might shoot my eye out.

My son has both the Buck model and the red ryder. You can throw a BB harder than the buck shoots it. Nice cheap BB guns for young ones to learn with.

try using an uppercase D :D

I did and everytime it switched back to the lower case:confused: Then to really confuse it, when you quoted me it came up correct:confused::confused::confused:

btw-the confused seems to work fine

Tom, is it a "Buck knives" logo or not?

Sorry I was going to include the picture of the logo for you, but I am having a tough time :D
