Buck Custom U.S.A. That's all the blade says. My Dad gave it to me several years ago. Looks like the 507 I found online. Lots of info but it was all over the place. Some stuff I read said a value of $30 some said $500. I know it is real I have a small Tiffany bag it has stayed in. My Father's employer gave it to him for his 15th year of being with the company. I just don't know that much about it and was hoping to find out more. It does have the Tiffany stamp saying it is 925 sterling silver. It does not say 507 on the blade.

Please turn on your email (at the top of this screen find "forum actions" click on this then click on "general settings" then turn on email for mods and forum members). I would like to send you a non-public note. Thank you.

You can send me email (send me your email address, for example, would be useful, by clicking on my avatar, shown directly above in this post with my screen name in gold and the Marksman 830 shrunken to fit that space.)

New email sent to your actual email address, not via the forum email.

Two public points

1 your folder is rare, 1990's
2 little knowledge exists here, book(s) are an alternative source of info:

page 473 of Blade's Guide in the 1993 Buck's

The knife is a model 528 which is just like the 529, The last one that sold on the big auction site when for an offer under $250.00. It was mint in box with the cloth case. Guess I waited to long to see if the price would drop. I would certainly keep that knife, if for nothing else than as memorabilia from your father.

Buck 528? Did Buck ever made a model with the number 528? I don't think so. The 529 is the Buckskin series and the 527 is the Treasury series. But there's nothing between - as I know. But what do I really know?

Haebbie

P. S.: My Tiffany has a mirror polished blade, stamped with 507. Date code "/" for 1993.

I have my fathers knife also, exactly like this.
Buck
507-

It was his EDC for a long time until he gave it to me.
Sadly I don’t have the original bag and box as pictured. But it is still is great shape considering how much he carried it.

Notchbak - I would look on the big auction site. They have the Tiffany box and bag for sale which would complete your knife set if interested. Just try to make sure to get the right size that yours came in. A little research and asking the right person would get you that info.

Guys we are not supposed to give the value of an item to non gold members.

That would be correct... if you're referring to post #7 though, that post is over 4 years old ;)

That’s an idea I had not even considered. Definantly gonna take a look and see what’s available. Thanks for the tip.

Tiffany & Co, that's pretty cool. I would have never known. An old post worth bringing back!

If watching Antiques Roadshow has taught me one thing it's that anything Tiffany & Co. is worth good money.

Interesting knife! I don’t think I would actually carry it though for fear of scuffing it up.

Thanks and Yeah I agree, I keep it in a soft bag, in a small box.
It’s has some minor wear from my dad having carried it some, but it doesn’t detract from the ‘personal’ value that it gives me.
