First up for your consideration today is a rare Buck Vanguard from my small collection.
This is a Buck Vanguard that was their May 2020 Knife of the Month - model (0192BKSBOTM). This custom knife features the black rubber handle paired with an S30V satin finished blade and polished nickel silver guard and butt. Includes the black leather sheath and I also bought a nylon sheath from Buck at the time of purchase for a 2 sheath option. Only 250 were produced.
The blade features the “BUCK” and the anvil with the “B” inside the anvil on one side of the blade and on the other side of the blade, the “BOS” with flame and “S30V”.
I purchased this knife new directly from Buck Knives on May 13, 2020. The knife is in pristine condition and has never been used nor sharpened. Comes with all the original packaging, paperwork and even the little silver tie thread.

This is a Buck Vanguard from their Custom Shop made with ATS-34 steel stamped “Buck Custom U.S.A.” with the “Buck” in cursive-type script and on the reverse side “DESIGNER’S CHOICE” and “ATS-34”. The box is dated 12/02/2009. I purchased this knife new directly from Buck Knives.
This custom knife features the black rubber handle paired with the ATS-34 satin finished blade, a brass guard and nickel silver butt. Includes the nylon sheath and paperwork.
I purchased this knife new directly from Buck Knives in 2009. The knife is in pristine condition and has never been used nor sharpened.
Asking ONLY: $159
Both knives were stored in a climate and humidity-controlled cabinet in a non-smoking home.
