Bura (Top)

Sher's is longer than Bura's by 5/8"

As you can see Bura made the handle shorter, but thicker than Sher did.

also, can you tell us the differences between the 18" Siru by Bura and by Sher?


As you can see by the photos Bura and Sher have different ideas of what a Siru should be.

Buras is alot ligher than Shers and the blade is Futted too so the Khuk has a neutral balance while Shers is more tip heavy.

The spine on Shers is alittle thicker by 1/16" or so.

The detail, inlays on Buras are straigher and the Cho is more defined than Shers is, also the polish on the blade is more mirror like.

The handle on Shers is better in my opinion, it feels better in my hand.

Both Kamis but a really good edge on their Khuks so it is even there.

To sum it up both are the same quality, but you can see why Bura is the Royal Kami.
