Along with a framelock folder, I would love to see Jerry produce a double edged Karambit. I've really started getting into these knives recently. Although not as versatile as most fixed blades, what they do (slicing) they do exceptionally well. If you're looking for a rope slicing, box cutting, nasty little self-defense knife it's tough to beat a Karambit. Plus they do appeal to my inner mall ninja.:D

I know it's not really a traditional Busse style knife, but if Jerry ever decided to produce a Karambit would anyone (other than me) be interested?

Say hello to the War Boar!!

Man you guys are good. Never knew Jerry made these.

And look if I go on sales corner I can find a used one for only .......... $750.00 :(

Why do I always seem to be a day late and a dollar short with knives? Spyderco made a nice folding Karambit that seemed to be very popular. But wait, they stopped production long ago and used ones are priced pretty high. Same for some of the Striders that are out of production (not that they were ever reasonably priced). May have to break down and see if I can find a nice Emerson.

Or Busse could just bring back the War Boar.:)

Now you're talking!!!!
Bring BACK the War Boar!!! Can I has mine in Comp finish with BCM, please?

Spyderco's coming out with a new folder with an Emerson opener, I think it looks better than their last, google "karahawk"

Damn. I guess I sold mine way too cheap.

Save your money, the blade was "WAY"...to curved to be useful on the Busse. I carried and used a Karambit in Iraq.
The Strider is a great rendition of the originals and was useful for cutting and as a control weapon.
I would carry it inside my waist band and it would seemingly deploy from nowhere. Defiantly had a "get your attention" affect when used correctly.
I would love to see Busse make it again, but this time in a more traditional and conciliable shape so it would be useful.

I completely understand the desire. My inner mall ninja loves when my War Boar comes out. Ironically out of the millions of knives I have handled, the War boar did the most damage to myself. They will slice and I have the scar to prove it.

I would never use a War Boar but it is the one Busse that I must have. In fact it was the one that got me into Busse's when they came out. I think an anorexic light brigade War Boar would be a nice knife to look at in the draw - an AWBLB. Pity I could never get one into Australia.

Chris.

I had no idea these were in such demand. I'll have to dig through my Big Box O' INFI and see if I don't have one or two left to post on the exchange.

Certainly would have 1 or 2 in the collection but as CPC says.... Our laws down here are a PITA :grumpy:
