anyone ever buy a jacket from cabelas?

i just ordered a b-3 bomber jacket for winter -

i hate not being able to touch a leather coat before i buy,i hate thin cheap leather-

i hope this is a good heavy leather jacket-http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?type=pod&id=0021103

I'm sure it's going to be awesome - I am so jealous. I love those B3's . I have a Navy A2 that I can wear here in florida when it cools off for a couple of weeks here but can't wait to get somewhere where I can justify owning one.

i hope its quality-
i looked at all the local places( 80 miles today) and they either had nothing like a b3 or the ones they had were garbage and cost as much as this one-

one place had some for 100 bucks clearance ,only one in my size was not of the same quality as the ones that were too small, they were real nice-

everything i have purchased with the cabelas name has been of excellent quality. im sure your coat will be fantastic!

And if it doesn't suit you for any reason, all you have to do is fill out the supplied form and return it. Cabela's has truly excellent customer service.

If you ever get the chance to step into a cabela's retail store, brouse through the bargain cave. You'll be amazed at what they will take back. I saw some boots that looked like they still had half of colorado on them. They do have a great return policy, and the bargain cave bares that out. I've never bought anything with the cabela's name that was not quality, though.

I haven't inspected one of the bomber jackets in hand, but I can say that everything I have bought from Cabela's has been really good quality and they have a good return and refund policy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them.

+1 on the assurances. Cabela's has an exceptionally good return policy, as does in my experience REI(doubt they have leather coats, though), Duluth Trading, and Sierra Trading. I read great things about LL Bean, too.

The other good thing is Cabela's and Duluth have pretty consistent sizing throughout their lines, and usually a little on the generous side. It's nice as once you've owned something from them you can make a pretty good guess on how something new might fit. They also use quality materials and methods, so in my mind it's worth possibly having to return something if it's not quite what you want.

well it arrived today-
and is on its way back-

not what i call a good quality leather-just the feel of the leather turned me off-said it was a thick cut-it wasnt-

ohh well time to try another company
