I found - and bought - a Camillus 3 blade Bosun Knife with the 1915 Date on the blade. It has a knife blade (4"), a marlin spike, and a spear point blade (1 3/4"). The handle is Horn.

I am wondering how common this knife is nearly 100 years later? What can you tell me about this knife.

Should I clean it up or leave as is? How should I clean it?

Thanks

Camillus made a Marlin Spike knife for the British and Canadian Navies during WWI. This knife had bone covers, a spear blade, early style can-opener and a copper clevis. Total production was 18,062 dozen knives. This order was the first military knife contract that Camillus ever received (1914).
