can 1/8th G10 be cut with a razor blade?

It’s doable but it sucks, and I believe I was cutting 1/16”.

I recommend a coping saw with a fine tooth blade you will have minimal loss.

I’ve tried to cut it with a razor, scissors, etc.
If all you are doing is cutting a straight line you could clamp down the G10 and a straight edge guide to drag the razor along several passed.

I'd simply try it and see... But I'll say this... Good luck lol

I use a blade runner table saw with steel cutting blades or a jigsaw to cut through G10 or micarta. If you don’t have either of those handy, a coping saw will do the trick.

^ fair question, in case I need to maximize a 5" wide slab cut in half, I'd like to know my options/cost for a one time cut. thanks guys

It's no harder to cut straight lines with a jeweler's saw than with a coping saw.
