I have had this knife for about 10 years (estate sale find)- I use it to chop in the kitchen. It sharpens easily and I like its chunky ugliness. Most of the writing on the side is in Chinese or Japanese. I can see the remnants of 'Made In -----'
What is it? Anyone? https://bleepbloop.imgbb.com/
Thanks-

I was able to use a photo hosting site. I am techno-challenged. Thanks-

There was a thread on something similar a few months ago, and I have one around here from my father’s kitchen tools. I think of it as more of a food chopping tool. The local asian grocery markets have jars full of them. They sell for a few bucks apiece.

Definitely Chinese writing, design looks like a typical Duck Slicer.
The only kanji left complete are 包用 at the bottom which
doesn't help in identification. The ones above it are too worn.
That "MADE IN XXXXXXXX" is a real stumper and as weird as
it sounds, I think it's "HONGKONG" but written backwards.
