Can you say "Kansei?"

.....Kansei Matsuno to be exact.

Can you say 'Shweeet'? I have just picked this gem up from the guys at BladeArt. There are few knives that appeal in shape to me as much as this one does. This has unmistakeable Japanese-inspired design all over it. (If this was a motorcycle it would be a Yamaha YZF-R1!)

Titanium interframe with Mastodon inserts. Bead-blasted/polished frame highlights, satin blade, embellished pivot joint, unique liner lock, and even the thumbstud has a little rolling sleeve! Super-duper grind lines and very clean and quiet lock-up.

I am told he speaks not a word of English--which is fine because I speak not a word of Japanese. But we understand one another just fine, thank you.

Thought you folks might enjoy a look as well. Any other collectors with his work out there?

That is one of the most unique, best looking folders I have ever seen. Congratulaions, you have yourself a magnificent knive there.

Hey Coop, here's another one from Kansei, it's his K-1 model. This was also a purchase from Bladeart.com. This is one of the smoothest folders I own. Coop that's a nice one you have, I've been eyeing that one for a while. Here's a front pic....

I have emailed him a few times and his written English is getting better. He was able to read my email and respond in a way I was able to understand easily.
