Hey guys, up for grabs is my second finished cane. This one, like the other, has a carbon fiber wrapped hickory shaft with an integral nylatron tip. It wrapped cf to the end, so no ugly rubber tip.
The shaft is 1" in diameter and appx. 38" tip to top. The knob is made to spec for me by WC Latheworks. It is solid titanium that is anodized bronze. It is attatched permanently with a stud into the cane body.

Here are the specs.

OAL - 38"
Shaft - 1"
Carbon fiber wrapped hickory
Integral nylatron tip

$550 shipped
International shipping for a bit more

Paypal or postal money order preferred

Thanks for looking!!

Thanks!

I have to use a cane for walking almost all the time now. This is a VERY cool looking cane, but the shape of the head is such that I can't use it.

For walking, I need a more conventionally shaped head. One that I can wrap my fingers around, for lifting it up with each step, to lift it, and has a surface to take some of my weight.

I favor canes that have a T shaped head. During the winter, I use a cane with the common curved top.

If you made the brass head with a 'T' head, and made one arm of the T longer than the other, as they are usually made, but you sharpened that part to a point, it would make a wicked weapon.

Making the other arm of the T to have a good sized blunt end, would make a good nonlethal weapon.

I have seen canes with a standard shaped T head, made of brass. They are quite heavy, and would make a fairly decent weapon. If you got a clean hit on someone's head, odds are they would be rendered unconscious. If you had enough upper body strength, I'm sure you could kill someone with a brass headed cane.
