Carbon Fiber Integral Folder - will this ever be done?

I've recently been eyeballing the Benchmade 781 Anthem and Marfione Anax. After a great of research on integral frame locks, I began to wonder if there could ever exist a carbon fiber integral. Imagine how light-weight and sleek this would be!

I suppose a frame-lock configuration would be viable, but it would have to have a secondary attachment like the Marfione Anax - so it would not exactly be a true integral frame-lock. Perhaps it could have a subframe-lock/liner-lock mechanism beneath the single piece of carbon fiber (similar to that of the CKF Gratch).

Although, it might not be the most durable; I've also read that Carbon Fiber is a challegen to meet a certain threshold of tolerances (e.g. CRK Sebenza CF)... so it may be overly ambitious.

What are your thoughts, BF?

I have two carbon fiber integrals.

A lionsteel tm1 carbon fiber
And
A Marfione Anax carbon fiber integral.

There are others too. Are you living under a rock? In any case they are awesome.

I want to see a marbled carbon fiber integral now.

This hobby always teaches me something new...

The Marfione Anax has been on my wishlist since the beginning. Any gripes on the tolerances/F&F? I've read a plethora of complaints on Marfione products. Moreover, I don't like what I read about Anthony Marfione.

I would avoid it like the plague. The quality of them is nice tho and the action is smooth. But yea I'm not a supporter of Marfione nor his use of non standard hardware and shitty service and no tools for the crap hardware.

LionSteel TM1 CF with either satin or black blade and matching hardware.

Kind of beefy with a 3.5" blade that's 0.18" thick and weighing 5 ounces.

It's a lock back with caged IKBS bearings, thumb disc (removable) and tungsten carbide glass breaker.

i thought it was ikbs because it was advertised as such, but when i opened it, it was just caged ikbs bearings. so i guess thats sorta good lol cause it was a PITA to disassemble. also the carbon fiber has ALOT of voids in it. voids are ugly and a source of failure, but i dont think it will ever fail in use as a knife, ever.

the blade is a great slicer for me. as it gradually tapers for that long distance. slipner steel is not the greatest for corrosion resistance and now adays not the best with edge retention, but i enjoy it, easy to sharpen and gets wicked sharp.

the action is amazing cause it rides on bearings. ive been bitten by it a few times by closing it without my finger all the way up in the choil area. i have a video or two on my insta, ill try and link them later if i have time.
