Carhartt Extremes Yukon coat

That's pretty much THE jacket that anyone who works outside in the winter wears around here. Very durable and very warm. I have that jacket and matching bibs. I wore them a lot when I worked for a grain elevator and they held up great and I would actually work up a sweat when it was below zero.

Well, I can't tell of the specific model but I've had their parka (with hood) for one winter and I have to say that I have to occasionally open it if I'm walking with my dog. Damn warm jacket! It seems very sturdy and amazing quality for the price that I got it for.

I have that model with the optional hood. It's very warm and has held up well. I get compliments on it. Warm, rugged and good looking!

Move south and throw all your winter clothes away... that's what I did!!

But all of my family that still lives up north wear Carhartt... I'm sure it a great jacket.

I've got two Carhartt coats, the parka is like a furnace. I thought I was going to sweat to death in the middle of a blizzard one time. However, both coats are duck, this one I'm looking at is cordura nylon. It's Carhartt, even the tee shirts I have from them are high quality, so I'm not worried, but I just wanted to hear any owners reviews.

I have the same Jacket with the Hood, I have worn it for about 4 winter seasons and it remains the warmest and most durable Jacket I've owned.

While I own two Carhartt jackets, but I don't own this one. I can say that the two I have are very well made - for what its worth.

Carhartt duck is a duck until the weather gets Extreme. Great Winter gear that isn't afraid to get dirty. ("1000-denier Cordura® nylon with a nylon lining quilted to arctic-weight polyester insulation.")
