being a new flashaholic i need to know which i want carley or brinkmann nextstar bulbs for my aa mini-mag. also where can i get either on of them? how expensive are carley's? i just found bladeforums and can't get enough, brock kind of turned me on to it, thanks brock!! my mag really sucks compared to even my rage. didn't realize how dim these things really were. also where can i get siliconized grease.thanks, dougy1
 
I have been trying to get Carley to do up a batch of xenon lamps for the two cell AA and two cell AAA MagLights for months. Their special run arrived the other day, and don't fit. It may be a lost cause.

You can get the Brinkmann ones for two AA cells.

Silicon grease with Teflon is available from pool and spa supply places.

I got my Silicone Grease at a scuba equipment store. I posted about this somewhere before with more accurate infomation--had the little cannister or plastic jar, in hand. I recall around $10. So far about $1 per year, and next year the cost will be less per year
