Case #52 congress is coming back!!!!

I was emailing Case and asking if they planned to bring back some patterns (split backs and congress) back and......well just read this:

Thank you for your inquiry. The Medium Congress is being reintroduced in 2017. This is the 052 pattern. I have no information on the Large Congress nor the Splitback Whittler being reintroduced. However, I have sent your email to the Product Development Team

So.... I'm looking forward to 2017!!! And maybe if we all ask nicely, we can bring back the Large congress and split back whittler

My only Case Congress is this 64052 that started out in Aquamarine bone. My wife got it for me and the mark side bone had a long crack in it that ran from the center pin, past the shield, and on to the bolster. Visible in the top photo if you look very close. I sent it back to Case for repair. They matched the color as best they could.

Top is the original Aquamarine. Sorry, no pics with the blades open at this time.

I'm not interested unless they go back to the old 2 spring design. I've got a couple '70's ones, and they're solid. The 4 spring ones feel flimsy and unusable. The blades are way to thin and flexible.

Got it today. Fit and finish is very nice and it has good snap open and closed with no blade play, but the half stop is soft with no snap. I think the made they blades just a little too tight.
