I want to have the blades replaced on this case because the previous owner used a pull thru sharpener will case replace them. I ask because if they won't I don't feel like waiting 6 to 8 weeks for them to send it back and tell me they won't replace them.

Nice stag handled case slip joint bro :)

classic/classy

I'd say use it till it doesn't work then send it in. If its not cutting safely or effectively, I'd think they'd gladly fix it.

Just my two cents ofc

For a knife like that with blade damage from sharpening, which is not a warranty problem, Case will replace the blades but it will cost quite a bit - not sure how much but I want to say at least $15 per blade including labor.

It appears to be a 2010 or later tang stamp, so the blades today will definitely work in that frame.

Someone else may have experience with sending a knife in to Case for a non-warranty blade replacement and may be better informed of the cost.

But it is not cheap. Realistically a new 63032 or a better used example would be less expensive.

I'm pretty sure the handles on that one are amber bone.

a lot of life left in that knife, somebody really went at it though, I'm guilty of using one from time to time on certain knives but holy cow they really went at it
