Hi, I'm wondering if anyone could give me more information on the Case Blue Scroll Stag Series I believe the models I have were produced in 2006
My biggest question is were they a limited production run and if so does anyone know how many were produced? I have a handful of
these in a few different models they are beautiful knives and I think it was a limited run but they are not numbered so I'm not sure on that
any help or links on where to find the information would be greatly appreciated.

Seeing a few listed on the 'auction site' that describe at least some models as being '1 of 500' (trapper, congress, peanut patterns w/blue blade etch and engraved bolsters). Assuming so, that should imply a limited production run. Maybe an SFO (Special Factory Order) for a specific Case dealer, but I don't know.

Case also produced 'Blue Scroll' and 'Red Scroll' knives back in the mid-late '70s, in stag.

I'll post a couple pictures of them ... I thought it was a limited run but they aren't numbered as such so I wasn't sure thanks David

^Nice-looking knives there.

(I have one of the 1977 versions, a 5347 HP SSP 'Blue Scroll'...)

BTW, numbered knives would ordinarily show serial numbers in a sequence (as in '001', '027', '499', etc), whereas the '1 of 500' description just implies that 500 were made, and each represents 'one single knife out of the 500 total'. I'm guessing you already know this. But, it often leaves the impression that a '1 of 500' description implies it's the first in a sequence; but it isn't.
