With all of my time in Nepal, I’ve become fairly acquainted with water Buffalo and have been craving a Buffalo horn handled knife. It seems like Case has the most available options. Who has experience with Case Buffalo horn? Are they well finished? Durable? Thank you all in advance! Pictures are always welcome and appreciated

I have a few buffalo horn (and am looking for more). One thing that is a little off-putting on buffalo horn is that the jigging makes it a little lighter in the pockets than on the surface. I tried to show an example by opening up the 65023 Kickstart on the photo. Incidentally, this is the sum total of my Case buffalo horn collection. By my count, I need about 7 more, not including limited editions or any vintage ones (65017,65019,65020,65021,65026,65027,65222 - so if anyone is sick of looking at theirs I may want to buy). You can see there is still room in that container, possibly for seven more. The one I wish I had the most is the 65222, large stockman.View attachment 2113424

A medium Stockman and a Sowbelly.
Love them both but The Sowbelly is my favorite in all areas and pretty much a perfect example at least to my standards :)

Very much like the Stockman you have, the Jigged Horn suits it very well

Thanks, Will

I had a small sod buster in buffalo horn. It was a nice knife - just not my thing. I put it in the Case pass around box.

Oh well thank you then! lol I pulled that one from the pass around box, it is right in front of me as I type this. It is very nice, and thanks for adding it. It may not have been your cup of tea but I am liking it alot! I really like Sodbusters and this one is pretty darn cool. I really like how the horn is kind of fat, it is like a cross between the thin jigged bone ones and the fatter delrin Sodbusters. So thanks for your great addition to the box! :)

I want one of the fixed blades. The 5” regular blade. Buffalo Horn and a mushroom cap do it for me. It sure does look good to my eye.

That's what it's all about! Glad you appreciate it!
