Is there chart that has pictures of the Case XX "dot system" and the years. Like the chart Buck Knives has for there markings and years??

I'm trying to figure out the year of this P62-4 1/2 SS boot knife I just bought
Is the the "dot" the one in between the CASE and XX??

Sorry if this is the wrong forum
I couldn't find a CASE XX forum
I was shocked!!

I've never seen the dot between the Case and the XX it is usually not done that way, that's also a design I'm unfamiliar with, might want to call or e-mail Case about it.

What I have seen of Case knives, all folders, that isn't the dot for a year. The dots are under the USA in the '70s,and between the Case xx and the USA in the '80s.But I have never taken notice of a stamp with a dot between the Case and the xx like on that one.My guess would be that your knife is predot,'60s or so,but I'm not an expert on it by any means.

Yeah this is correct about the dot for the year, I was caught up in looking at the older tang stamps and forgot to mention that. On the older ones it is more a year range than a specific year. The dots started I think in the 70s but I've still never seen the dot btn the CASE and the XX.

Thanks for all the input so far fellas (and gals)
That chart is exactly what I was looking for!!!
How often do you guys run upon tang stamps that are different than those on the WRCASE chart?
I hope this ain't no counterfeit shank!!!!
If it is it sure took a lot of time to do it seems like
Here are some better pics
Damn that macro lens setting sure does show EVERY blemish on it!!!
It's cool though... adds "character" right??
;)
It really looks nice when you look at it with normal/eye level zoom
I'm pretty sure the P means pakka wood???

Just curious
I feel like I should "donate" somewhere for all this free "cutlery identification consulting"
Or maybe it's run off the warm fuzzy feeling when you help out a bumbling, aspiring knife enthusiast n00by.....
