Thanks. It doesn't appear to be used or sharpened as far as I can tell. I have duck hunted, many years ago, but would only be guessing at what the serrated blade would be used for.But I should add, it's a real nice piece. I don't think I've ever seen a stockman with a serrated sheepsfoot blade. Maybe that's a tool specific to duck hunting (something I've never done)?
So was the tang stamp as I described, making it 1993?Thanks. It doesn't appear to be used or sharpened as far as I can tell. I have duck hunted, many years ago, but would only be guessing at what the serrated blade would be used for.
Yes it is. I just realized you were talking about the S in CASE. It is like a lightning bolt.So was the tang stamp as I described, making it 1993?
I didn't know Case would do this. That's great. If you don't mind, take a pic of your wife's knife and post it. I'd like to compare it to mine. Thanks in advance.Awesome. My wife has one just like it, that was purchased in poor condition and sent back to Case. My best recollection is that the sheepsfoot blade was broken at the ricasso... I never knew that it would have had a serrated blade. Case replaced the blades and patched it up and sent it back at no charge. It's one of my wife favorite knives.
I'd be glad to. Give me a minute.I didn't know Case would do this. That's great. If you don't mind, take a pic of your wife's knife and post it. I'd like to compare it to mine. Thanks in advance.
