Good evening folks, I like self-assisted knives I have a few kershaws that I like.
Lately I've been looking at a case kickstart. I've never seen one or held one. They look like nice little knives. But I don't know nothing about them. Does anybody here have one. If so can you tell me what you like about it, and what you don't like about it. Thank you in advance.

I have the mid-hunter kickstart. It's about the same size as a Kershaw Leek, but much thicker.
What I like:
- Uses a leaf spring for the assist, so it fires like an auto.
- I like the style of the mid-hunter.
-Has a pocket clip.
What I don't like:
- The stud placement is a little awkward (for my hands).
- Blade has a little more side to side play than I'm comfortable with.

Overall, if you like the style of the mid-hunter or trapperlock, I'd buy the regular unassisted versions of those instead.
But if you like gadgets, the design of the assist in the kickstart is interesting.

my feelings also, well stated.

This sounds sweet, I have wanted a slipjoint-auto, or assisted, for a while, for convenience.

I think they're just flat out classy. Sunday go to meeting knife. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything about the kickstart. It's on my short list now.
