Hey bladeforums, I'm new here so I decided I would show off one of my favorite knives in my collection. This is my case xx usmc issue combat knife. I've had it since I was barely a teenager, so this knife has been through a lot of use. It still is fully functional, and holds a great edge. It has the standard stacked leather handle, and a leather sheath. I believe this knife was manufactured in 1998, or issued in 1998, but I'm no expert on any of that. This is a great knife for general use on the campsite, outdoor excursion, or whatever you can think of. I re-strung the sheath with dental floss :D

So, if you all like my post, share a knife of your own, or just say Hi to a new member of the forum :) Nice to meet all of you.

well, looks like I forgot to post my picture. I'll get it up asap!

is there an option to upload images?

Hi gelbschnee -

That is a nice Case - I don't think I have seen one of those before - I like it!

Thanks for posting up your pic and welcome to this forum.

best regards -

do you all see a lot of case knives on this forum? I have a select few that I like very much, especially some folders. I may put up some pics of those also.

Here's the case folder. It's very plain, and could probably use a good polish. (and sharpen....)

This one was a lucky find at a swap meet for 7 bucks!!!

Yes, the combat knife is full tang. It has a pin through the pommel that joins it and the tang together. I'm sure it's the same construction as a Ka-Bar. It looks like the picture below.
**Note: This is not my picture, I just wanted a quick example**
