Stopped by a pawn shop today and saw a Casselman knife. Excellent condition with belt pouch. One side of blade was marked Stainless Rostfrei, the other side Casselman Germany. Not familiar with knife manufacturer. Wanted $40 dollars. Did a Google search and found out they are basically promotional knifes for companies and many copied in China. Does the fact that this one is marked with the word "Germany" indicate that it is German made and worth a little more than the China made product. Seems like a well made knife, but wanted some input from the experts on this site.

Hoped to get a couple of thoughts on this particular knife manufacturer. Marked "Germany". Does that add any value. Price $40.00. Are they junk and just look good or what? Will be used as a EDC for light use. Help me out guys. My gut tells me to forget about it, but just the same, my novice eyes think it is fairly well made. ???
