Hope it’s been a good week so far for everybody out there living the knife life. I’m back again today with another Para3 cruwear to hopefully put back in to circulation. Literally received this yesterday, and inteneded on replacing my current CruWear user with it, but it’s almost identical in terms of wear, and the action is slightly stiffer, so I think I’ll keep the one I’ve had from the beginning instead. This is a user, and it shows. G10 scales are dirty/discolored all over, on both sides, but there are no chips/cracks, or any structural damage to the g10, just dirty. The blade itself also shows use, having been sharpened already, and showing some light scratches, mostly on clip side. There is also a small spot that appears to be the beginning of a spot of oxidation/rust on the clip side of the blade (circled in photo below), along with a little on the jimped portion of the thumb ramp. A knife eraser, flitz, or a scouring pad should knock it off easily, but I’ll leave that for it’s new owner. There’s even some pocket crud in the lanyard tube too. What I’m trying to say is, THIS KNIFE IS WELL USED, and far from pristine looking, but quite functional, with a ton of good mileage left on it. Action is a little more ‘stiff’ than my other Para3 cru. Still flicks open (just not quite as effortlessly) and falls free/swings closed (with the help of some very slight wrist action sometimes). Very well centered. This one is definitely NOT for collectors, but would make an excellent user for folks who dig cruwear, and don’t mind their knife looking like it’s been around the block.
