Okay, I admit it. I'm not a computer nerd or accessory freak. I know NOTHING about digital cameras. I was shopping for a cheap one and came upon these Polaroid PhotoMax Fun!Flash 640's. The sales lady said they would be fine for posting pics on the net. They were $69.00 and came with everything. Did I waste my money? I haven't tried it yet because I wanted to see what you guys in the know thought. I know scanners are better than digital cameras but I wanted something to post pictures of large items as well as small.

No. That's a $200.00 discount!

Gene,

The BEST way to see if you made a good purchase is to go ahead and take a picture of you favorite knife, and post the picture here.

Hi Dann and I agree with you but there's a lot of knowledgeable folks on these great forums and I just thought I'd get some opinions.

Zodiac and Marc, I'd like to give you both a belated "welcome" to the forums. Marc, I don't think this model was discounted $200.00. It was an improved model and Polaroid discounted it an additional $20.00 but they have a lot of much more expensive models. I hope you ARE right though.

Zodiac, thank you much for your opinion.
