Good evening Bladeforums. I just finished up a nice little chef knife and would like to offer it for sale. The blade is made from 180 layers of 1084 and 1520 steel in a random pattern. This blade was forged to shape and features a full distal taper and full height flat grind. I targeted 62 HRC with the heat treat. The blade was ground to .010" at the edge before sharpening.
The spine and choil are rounded for comfort.
The handle is made from water buffalo horn, copper spacer and pin and desert ironwood, shaped for a comfortable fit.
OAL: 11.25"
BL: 6"
spine thickness at handle: .132"
spine thickness at tip: .012"
spine to edge by choil is 1 7/8"
Asking $SOLD which includes shipping to US. I can accept PayPal or checks (held till cleared).
PayPal can be sent to kirbys65@hotmail.com
Note: pictures taken before sharpening to better show full dimensions.
