I forged this knife from 5160 steel because it's toughness and edge holding properties
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain. You will see a quench line at the plunge. I did this to leave the tang slightly softer than the blade.
Convex grind with a 400 grit finish and a light etch
Camo Micarta handle
Overall length: 15 3/4 inches
Blade: 11 inches
Weight: 1 pound, 2 ounces
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
