Chopper1 Cleanup

I have a Chopper1 to clean up, portions of it are quite rusted, being that it’s cast iron should I just take a wire cup to it, oil it, and move on? Or is there a better way?

Does anyone know if the blade edge is CI too or an inset?

I'd vinegar or wire wheel it, oil it, and move on.

If it's still on the handle, wire wheel and light oil on the head. If the head is loose, vinegar then oil.
