I saw that Chuck Buck will at the Smoky Mtn. Knife Works on May 25-26. I hope to get out there to meet him. I am hoping he will autograph my Buck Knife book. It's about 200 miles but it would be worth it to meet Mr. Buck. Maybe I'll meet some of you there.

What matters to you matter to God because you matter to Him.

P.S. I have misspelled Chuck's name in the Topic and can't find out how to correct it. If anyone can do this I would appreciate it. He might not want to sign my book if I don't spell his name right. Help, please!

too funny...

He will get a good chuckle and probably write some comment about it in your book.

He will never see it first hand. We just threw a surprise birthday party for him for his 65th birthday and we kept it a secret from him at the plant by doing all communications in email...he never suspected a thing.

He will be with me in Kansas City for the NRA convention the 17th - 20th and then he drives to Tn. for Smoky Mtn. He has a air driven dremel tool that he autographs knife blades as well so bring your knife with you and he will sign it with the book.

Russell,

200 miles is a short distance to drive to meet such a fine man. Chuck is a wonderful human being. He is warm, caring and willing to share a Buck knife story with anyone. I don't believe he has ever met a stranger, only a new friend. Enjoy your visit with him.

John is right on! I think I have known Chuck longer (36 years) than anyone else around the forum, except maybe CJ.

Thanks guys, I feel better already. That is what happens when you get in a hurry. Thanks C.J. for the info about engraving. I will bring my 175 that Chuck sent for my daughter's high school auction. I have shared about Buck in my sermons illustrating what it means to not be ashamed of Jesus Christ. Thanks again.
