Cigarette Case

Anyone have a particular favorite?

I recently switched to nonfiltered American Spirits and have only been able to find them in a soft pack. I don't smoke a whole pack a day, so a case is a must. I'd prefer something slim, single sided, not top loading.
 
When I used to smoke pretty often, I went to Things Remembered and picked up a Colibri cigarette case with a built-in (removable) lighter. This isn't the exact same one, but it's close enough: http://cigars.bogarts.com.au/images/T/CCM004401E.jpg

I don't know enough about specific brands and models, but I just wanted to give you a few tips after using mine for a few years. If you get a chance to handle the case before you get it, check the hinges and clasps. My case has a spring built into the hinge, and once the clasp is worn down, the case won't stay shut. I would also recommend something that isn't polished, because the finger prints and smudging will drive you crazy (well at least they did for me). I hope that helps.

I was putting a feeler out for anyone that knew a particular case / maker that they liked. I found All-Ett on a wallets thread, got one and I absolutely love it.
 
Used to use an old Altoids tin. One night ,I went to the bar and had a beer. Then I wanted a smoke. I opened up my tin, and saw my survival kit instead! Grabbed the wrong tin ! I quit since then ( smoking and drinking both )
 
I quit smoking and started snusing, not the camel or marlbro crap, the real Swedish stuff, in the last 4 months I've only spent about $50 on tobacco.

there are plenty of cases out there, I never had a problem with soft packs, usually it was the hard packs that broke my cigs when I was working.

Another option is putting your cigs in your breast pocket.

I had a steel carry case that I got from a friend who got it from a gun show or flea market, I'd suggest going to google first though.
 
hmm ineed a good case to unlike many soldiers i rarley smoke but when i do i smoke djarm blacks they are hard to come by and relativley expensive also their packs are thin so im gonna get anice classy case as well. thanks for starting this thread

I have a Harley Davidson case with a built in lighter. Send me your shipping info and it's yours. I stopped smoking cigs and now smoke cigars (Backwoods, Hava Tampa, Black n Milds).
 
Peterson's makes some great cig cases.
I can't quite figure what you mean by top loading.

At any rate, the wife had a nice thin brass body leather covered one layer case for years, it really held up and looked great till she left it on a bench :grumpy:. Actually it was a masculine styled case, but hey.

Somewhere in the neighborhood of $30 at a good smoke shop, made in France. FYI Peterson's is a famous pipe and accessory company from Ireland.

It’s a cigarette case with a built in flask that way I can keep all my bad habits in one place.

I only use hard packs so cases aren’t really a must, but depending on my mood I might want an American Sprit (blue), a camel filter, or a Menthol so its nice to be able to combine a few of each into a case. However since my favorite case is top loading you wouldn’t be interested.

I’ve got two cases, one for some Jonny walker black and a few high end cigs that compliant the taste and a second one I can have in my car without getting my dumb ass into trouble:p. The latter is top loading. I used to have one with a built in lighter but gave it away, a zippo is easier.
