Ok, wow this horn is perfect, I love the dark horn. Clip blade is actually pinchable which is really nice.

Very good looking horn my friend. If the one Mike sent me on Friday is on par with yours, I will be over the moon. Right now the USPS is saying Monday delivery. Patients isn't my strong suit when waiting on a knife!

On a side note, I went to my local gun show today and the selection of quality knives was very disappointing. I found one used GEC #73 that a guy wanted $100 for (I passed). These days getting knives online is pretty much the only way to score a good knife at a fair price. At least outfits like CK seem to be sending out product that most folks really like. I can't wait to share some pictures with y'all on this thread.
 
My knife arrived today. Mike sent me a fine example of light colored horn. As is to be expected with horn there is some character on the scales but I personally think it just ads to the beauty of a remarkable knife. All in all I'm very pleased with the knife and it will likely have a place in my rotation for some time.

Rams horn texture is always a plus I think, just adds so much to the character and to the grip as well. But, they can't all have the great texture like those Ed Fowler has made ;) most of his have a lot of texture.

All the posts about ram's horn inspires me to share a pic of my Bolus clip in ram's.
Like G2 said, I like horn to have texture. Mine has some but this run appears to be largely smooth.
And as others have said, these blades are very pinchable. Great knives. Zero blade play. Centering is dead on.

I really like the clip point as well. It was a tough choice. I may need to pick up a stag in clip point if they are available. I used mine this morning to prepare the kids lunches. This little knife is handy and sharp! I’m really liking the M390.
