Cladding?

Do all cladded blades from Japan scratch as easy as the ZDP 189 cladding? I'm looking at the Caly 3 HAP40.

If it's 420j2, then yes (I believe this is what most are clad with). The cladding needs to have a parallel/symbiotic response during heat treat, so this is usually the selection. Fortunately, the scratches also are removed quite easily, as well.
