Cleaver 3,3 lbs, 5160 / hemp wrap [SOLD]

A big one, forged from 5160 bar.

This one is larger and heavier then i usually make them.
Balance is great with nice distal taper, and i'm sure it will be great tool for outdoors activity or kitchen work.
Hemp wrap over leather is soaked in epoxy resin and it feels great in the hand, or hands it's a two hand handle.

Flats are left raw, soaked in vinegar and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are brushed with scotch brite.

Overall length - 16,8"
Blade length -8,4"
Blade width - 3,5"
Thickness - 25/64" at the touchmark part, tapers to 5/64" at the end of the tang, and to 9/32" at the front of the blade.

Cleaver weights 3,3 lbs (or 60 oz.)

Handle material: Hemp wrap over leather, soaked in epoxy

No sheath included, but i can make one for extra fee.
