So it's with regret, as I was a previously happy customer of PVK, to relate that I will never buy from them again.

Long story short, ordered a Microtech Ultratech on 7/3, and they never sent it. They took my money immediately, charging my card, and sending me an auto shipping notice, but it stayed in "pre shipment" status from there.

I tried to give the company every opportunity, calling to check if USPS was wrong, but every time I was assured by PVK it was sent.....till I asked for a refund, which I was promptly given. Communication stopped with PVK all of a sudden not answering the phone when they saw me calling Tuesday, because they knew they never sent the knife.

I still don't know if they just didn't have the item to begin with, or why they decided to not send, but I gave them every opportunity to make it right, they just decided not to do anything at all.

Went to Bladeops, they sent the same day. Don't waste your time on PVK, the clowns there may or may not send you your order.

Did I miss read something?

You you received a refund and still complain.

My money was held up while i could have had other deals. They had no choice on the refund. I'm glad I also did not take the offer of the owner to do friends and family PayPal for a discount. Then there would have been absolutely no recourse.

Is this the site PVK.Vegas aka Pioneer Valley Knife & Tool?
They show up on the Microtech website, so I'm assuming an authorized dealer?
F&F solicitation amazes me...though maybe it shouldn't after lurking GBU for the last year.
Thanks for the info.

Yep, authorized dealer. To bad they cant communicate or mail orders that were paid for.

That's odd. I have never had a problem with Josh at pvk. I do know he is a one man show and he doesn't operate like amazon but I have always got what I ordered. And every time I had to send the item back it was fine with no issues. When did you get your refund? was this a matter of a few days or are we talking weeks here?

Like you Purple, I have never had any problems with Josh, he's always been great. This time it was very different. They still refuse to state by text that they did not send, and gave deceptive responses like they knew they messed up, and would make it up to me.....but how if they won't even tell me that they either never sent, or never had in stock.

Refund was within 24 hours of my request, which also was odd. Again, if you knew you were at fault, why not overnight me the knife? If they wanted to "make it right", why did they not offer anything to actually get the knife to me? It was just really weird.

Wonder why they didn't answer the phone.

^ Do you think perhaps, that PVK was afraid this was the guy on the other end? :D

In case anyone here has forgotten, My Real Estate Dojo, joined BF's just so he could start a GBU thread railing on PVK. For some reason, I don't think he lasted here very long.

On a positive note: this very articulate guy, sure is sporting one of the coolest man buns I've ever seen.

I only made it halfway through the video (there's a minute I'll never get back). If the "F" word were eliminated, the video guy couldn't talk. I live in Vegas (40 yrs) and neither I nor anyone I can influence will do business with him ("I take care of my customers"-I'm so sure); Thanks for the business info on the hood of your car. :poop:

I've never done any business with PVK, and never will after seeing how he treats his customers. Just ran across this on Facebook...

I've seen lots of bad press about the guy in here before, but I always thought maybe the people complaining were being nitpicky or something, but that right there looks like a blatant jackass move to me. Sending out the wrong product, complaining about the customer wanting to return it, replying with smart ass comments, telling the guy he would reimburse him for return shipping and 4 months later still hasn't done it. That guy definitely is a clown.

I ordered a $550+ knife from Josh and it arrived very well packaged, with signature confirmation, and exactly as described. I was very pleased with my transaction. Sorry you had a bad experience.

Sorry to hear these bad experiences. It surprises me actually. I have had very good luck with PVK. I've purchased over 30 knives from them and each and everyone of them accurate, on time and no issues. He has always been there to take my calls when I had questions about products and returned my emails. Even spent time and talked about cars and Vegas, etc. I still browse his site even though I'm satisfied with my collection I've gotten from him. I hope all of you somehow get your issues resolved.

ive had a good run with pvk on many purchases. only problem i had was a auto shown as a plain edge and i got a partial serrated, but once i did research i realized the maker stopped making plain edges of that model and so the picture hadn't been updated on the site and description. my impression is it's a smaller crew so mistakes can happen. so i wasn't thrilled, but decided i wanted the model so i kept it.

PVK.vegas has the same mailing address as Knifezilla.vegas and that tells me pretty much everything I need to know.

What the hell is knifezilla lol, I see no knives here.

As for PVK, I've never done business with him, but the feedback here in this thread itself is on the extremes of both ends of the spectrum. And either way, Real Estate Dojo guy was pretty entertaining, I'll give him that.

I've read several bad experiences with PVK ... and as this post many that had great experiences ... seems to be a crap shoot at best.
