I'm getting a new skull lanyard (thanks to BellaBlades!!!) and I'm practicing my knots. Which one looks better? Which one do you use? I used my tenacious, but I finally bit the bullet and ordered a Sebenza 21. Should be here early next week, and I can't wait!!!

Let me know which one you prefer, or which one you use.

Cobra

Snake

Thanks!!

I prefer the snake's head knot for my lanyards. It's a lot easier than the cobra stitch to pull off.

Cobra.
Do it with a single piece and pull it tight.
Let me see if I have an example.

I forgot to mention I tied it to a leather braided lanyard for you as well. So you can choose to use it after you take it apart. Just alternate holes when you put it back together.

The cobra was always a favorite of mine. I made a lot of keychain fobs with it, and even some short whips. But the snake is beautiful as a knife fob / lanyard.

That two tone snake is sweet!

By the way, cobra from Portuguese, and culebra in Spanish, come from the Latin that gives us colubrid, the largest group of modern snake species.
