I have always wanted one, a spiked knuckle knife from the movie COBRA. I know this is a more "serious" knife forum, and this is a bit cheesy, but Does anyone know any specs on this knife? I think they were made by Master Cutlery. I thought the movie licensed ones were 440c but I'm only seeing 440 listed on ebay auctions. Anyone here own one or owned one and actually used it for anything? Not sure what use lol unles those spikes screw off. If they did it may make a decent skinner. Anyhow any info

decent no, show piece maybe. how would hou carry it, that handle would bugger ue stuff up with the spikes.

word I know. Maybe passable skinner or could work as a skinner how about. Its collectors deal. Just for fun knife. One of those movies I watched a million times when I was a kid on saturdays on USA. The knock off's sheath actually covers the handle.

The spikes on mine did screw off. I don't know what ever happened to that knife. I never used it for anything but show, it held up to being stored in its sheath in a very humid environment for years quite well.

The original custom job features in one of the Blade annuals. Sure someone will come along and name the maker.

Personally, I think it looks like what it was, a movie bad guy's prop!

Herman Schneider made the original. I actually thought it Gil Hibben. I had to look it up.

I believe Harold Corby made the Slashers knife in the original film. I owned one in the 1990s.
Edited- missed your post Curtis! Brain fart on my part too - Corby was the only custom maker authorized to reproduce the knife! Wish I would have kept mine! Paid $675 for it around 1995.

wow I wonder what that would fetch now a days to the right collector? The master cutlery are .278 thick thats not bad depending on heat treat of course that should be as good as some of the lower end sharpened pry bar type knives being offered today. Again just for laughs. I'm not by no means making an argument for his to be a dedicated camp knife or anything.

check out far we have gotten with laser sights though since the A D's the laser is as long as the entire gun and thicker than the barrel, epic.

What you really need is the bowie Dolf used in the Expendables, and Jason Statham's skills. (I am soooo in man love with Jason after a movie full of him throwin knives like a REAL man! But I digress)

about as useful as a lightsaber but dang dont you want to own one of them too :D

Would a light saber be a folder or fixed blade? Technically I thing it would be an OTF auto, which means only cops and military could carry them in WA. Damn, the thought of a stat trooper walking to my car with his lightsaber holster, hand on it ready to deploy if necessary, would be AWESOME! LMFAO!
