In progress...

This one has a heavily tapered and hollowed tang for a fast, balanced feel. The handle shape indexes very well and feels great in the hand.

I applied the last coat of Danish Oil to the Blackwood yesterday afternoon. I'll have this one listed at www.fairlyknives.com later today.

The pins aren't hidden... but they are hard to spot!

kitchen knife?

What steel is used?? MORE INFO NEEDED :D

Oh it's just the handle... :D

OK!

.125" 52100 at ~61-62 RC, Hunter Pattern, Double Hollow, Double Fullers... one fuller has a small cosmetic flaw that I will point out... but the knife came out great!

Thanks guys!

Black Micarta pins, they blend in pretty well.

I'm going to get some pics in just a bit, this one is ready to go! I've been dealing with a Danish Oil explosion... it's everywhere!

I always liked the coke bottle handle on the Bundeswehr army knife.
I love me those Micarta pins, Daniel!

Thanks again guys!

Rolf, I just got some black paper micarta pins in, I tried a test one and they look great. The paper is a shade darker than canvas... I like both.

Got ya!
Hey, the German army knife would make a nice custom. Are you familiar with the knife, Daniel?

Daniel, Do you do Pepsi bottle handles too? ..............wait, does Jolt come in bottles? :D
