i cant seem to find a review anywhere online.

It only began shipping about a week ago, and most retailers don't even have them in yet...even that big name store with the river themed name doesn't have them in yet...may wanna give it a little more time.

I saw the prototype being field tested last year.
This Machete is a beast.
It's blade-heavy, but not too much to be unwieldy, and it's a cutting machine!
When Lynn and the team put it to work it held up great and actually exceeded many of our expectations.
I like the old school handle on this (the old latin machete handles were my personal favorites so I'm happy to see that style make a re-appearance) and that big wide blade did really well in our tests.
I wouldn't consider it to be a light machete for brush cutting etc. It's much more of a heavy duty tool. There's certainly some weight there so you need to bear that in mind - but I like it a lot
I think you will like it

well i know cold steel will only have good things to say about it so ill take that with a grain of salt but I'm getting it in tomorrow so ill post how it does and feels. I'm sure it will live up to what cold steel has said. the only issue i see is maybe the tip being a weak point and I'm not sure if it has a full tang.

Well, according to CS it's full tang.

I thought I was very up-front about this Machete.
It's my honest opinion. It's heavy (maybe even too heavy for some) but it cuts like a beast.
The tip is pretty sturdy. I've never seen one damaged even in our tough field tests and evil QC tests
It's full tang

i got it today chopped a few branches and hacked at some logs seems fairly solid a lot more solid than my last machete. the real test will be my camping trim in a few weeks. it seems to have a full tang but i cant see I'm sure it does feels too solid not to. i like the weight, i can use it with one hand but not for long. because of the weight it doesn't take a lot of effort to cut a branch that is 2.5 in wide in one swipe so far its amazing. even better than i expected.

sorry i meant no disrespect. i just like to see things for myself. i usually disregard the videos and comments made by the makers or reps of a product. but so far it has lived up to everything you said. great machete.

No offense taken :)
I'm glad you are enjoying it. Thank you for choosing Cold Steel
Please do share some pics and let me know how you like it after extended use
Thanks again and have a great day
