LAREDO BOWIE & AXE GANG HATCHET FEATURED IN THE WALKING DEAD

Cold Steel's Axe Gang Hatchet and Laredo Bowie Knife are featured heavily in this season's Walking Dead!
We've spotted the Laredo Bowie before - and eagle eyed fans will be able to see that knife's own story as it has passed through several characters hands before becoming the carry blade of choice for Carl Grimes!
Now it can be seen clearly on his belt as he stalks the woods and hunts Walkers!
It's also a great pleasure for us to see the Cold Steel Axe Gang Hatchet as the tool chosen as Rick Grimes's iconic axe!
We're long time fans of the show here at Cold Steel, and it's always awesome to see our knives and tools appear in the hands of the survivors!

I thought that looked like the Axe Gang when Rick went berserk in the streets of Alexandria. Cool.
Just wish the sound dept. hadn't inserted a machete "shinnng!" sound when he pulled it out. LOL

Haha, totally called it when I first saw that. Were I one of the characters, it'd be my Gurkha Kukri. :) Would never leave my belt except for use, and I don't care if the area is overrun, if I lose it I'm going back to get it!

Cool. But my guess is a bowie knife would be next to useless as Zombies can only be killed by destroying the brain? A big hammer or an axe would be a more logical weapon.

Supposedly in the show, the zombies rot to the point where their bones (incl. skulls) become soft enough to easily smash.

After 6 years, in the real world, they would have long ago been rotted to the point where they were nothing piles of bones. Decomposition doesn't take that long.

Oh well, I guess if the show was based on reality, it would not be very exciting. :D

I love spotting blades in media.

That sword was around for years before Arrow premiered. So I had a hearty chuckle when I saw the sword they were gonna use for the character. 12 dollars lol. Though at that time they were 9 dollars.

Weird. Prop master musta liked it. First guess would be it was chosen cause it was a budget issue, but since Arrow and Ra's Al Ghul fought using $240 Traditional Filipino Weapons exeucutioner's kris swords, I guess price doesn't factor THAT heavily on what blades they use...

Nice plug. While were on the subject, recognize any of the others?

I want that box btw.

Didn't recognize any other TFW blade other than what he is holding. Those in the middle looks like Hanwei tactical katanas.

I didn't get any screencaps, but one of the Saviors in last night's episode was armed with a Cold Steel cutlass machete.
