Cold Steel Black Talon II, Plain Edge Gone?

Hey folks.

Never Posted in the Cold steel Section before. I have a QUICK question, and THIS may be the place where I can get an answer.

The Cold Steel Black Talon II, which is one of favs, came out Originally in CTS-XHP in both Plain edge and Serrated. Then CS moved onto S35VN with a Plain Edge and a Serrated blade. Well...It seems that the Plain Edge hasn't been in stock for going on 4 years. I watched a video the other day that Lynn said that the Serrated was 3 times more effective (Honestly don't know how Lynn got that figure) but He said and showed nothing with the Plain Edge.

Does anyone know if the Plain Edge has been discontinued? Or is it THAT behind in restock.

Any help would be super appreciated.
 
3 times deeper cutting power, when compared to plain edge. I think they measured it!
For your other question, they switched the steel to CPM-S35VN and made the plain edge, but it has not been around in over a year-I know because I got one direct from CS in June 2021 and wanted a second one and couldn’t get one anywhere. It may come back-because it still comes up on Cold Steel’s web shop. Hope this helps a bit!
