Hi everyone, what are your thoughts on these swords? I would like to know the point of balance on the Dragonfly waki. I realize these are not really in the same "class", but these are the only swords I like so far. Are they any other waki that I should consider? I would like to keep the price below about $350.
Thanks in advance.

I just read a similar thread. Hope you can excuse my redundant post(replies welcome though).

The hanwei raptor wakizashi should be about as durable as the tactical wakizashi, but with more traditional fittings.
Everyone seems to like the scrapizashi and the swamp rat wakizashi. The first one is within your price range - I'm not sure about the second.

Wow, the Hanwei Raptor looks good. I like the iron fittings and the light weight. Anything similar with a ko katana length handle? Looks for the most part good, but the leather wrap on this sword looks a little of funny.

Cheness is the only company I know of (except for cold steel) that makes a ko katana. They make several models, all of which will be in your price range. The hanwei tactical wakizashi is a little like a ko-katana, with its long handle.

What length handle do you want.

What blade length?
