Cold Steel Gladius MAchete Up-State NY?

Good afternoon folks,
I am headed up to deer camp in NY's Adirondack Mountains in a month or two and have to do some trail work, blinds, etc.
I like the Cold Steel Gladius Machete but it is double edged. I know NY doesn't allow double edged knoves, but is this considered a knife?

Hello how are you. Why don't you just get a regular machete. Something like a Latin machete. I wouldn't want a double edged machete. Could be dangerous. You can get a decent tramontina for about 20 bucks. Or if you're lucky you'll run into a Martindale. The machete you have is not really worth anything in the woods.. that's just my opinion what do you think?
